Company History Lion International was founded in 2005, and is thus a fairly new company. It was founded by Leo Ching Gong and Andrew Strauss. They brought a lot of experience and a diverse set of skills to the company. Here is a brief history of their experience in the window film industry: 1999 - Began distribution of Solamatrix's Sungard and Glassgard films in the HuaBei region. HuaBei consists of 5 provinces in the middle of China. 2000 - Started the Suncool brand of window film. This was a new brand in the Chinese market that we developed from scratch. 2000 - Kang Li Automotive Improvement School opens. This was the first school of its type in all of China. Our intent was to use it to help promote the Suncool brand, and establish long-term relationships with our dealers and installers from the very start. So far, over 1,000 students have graduated from our school. 2002 - We began distributing our window films in all of China. This was a large increase in the size of our distribution area, and wound up being a major success for us. 2005 - Leo Ching Gong and Andrew Strauss started Lion International, a ShiJiaZhuang based company that specializes in the distribution of window film.
